Stop translating words to your language. Translating everything to your native language is a huge mistake when learning Farsi! If you are doing it, STOP right now! Translating everything is slowing down your movement. If you hear something in Farsi and instantly try to translate it to your native language; you will not be focusing on learning Farsi, but rather translating. When you hear people speaking in Farsi, try to find the words you do know and try to guess the meaning of the words you do not know.
Stop Negative Self-Talk.
If you find yourself saying or thinking negative things about learning Farsi such as, “You will never learn Farsi.” “Why do I always make mistakes? I am so stupid.” “I never know what to say. Farsi is so hard to learn.” It’s time to stop it! You should be positive to learn Farsi quicker.
