ابوریحان محمد بن احمد بیرونی دانشمند بزرگ ایرانی در قرن چهارم و پنجم هجری است. ابوریحان بیرونی را بزرگ‌ترین دانشمند مسلمان و یکی از دانشمندان ایرانی می‌دانند. همچنین او به پدر علم انسان‌شناسی معروف است.
Abu Rayhan Muhammad ibn Ahmad Biruni is a great Iranian scholar of the fourth and fifth centuries AH (the tenth and eleventh centuries AD). Abu Rayhan Biruni is considered the greatest Muslim scholar and one of the Iranian scholars. He is also known as the father of anthropology.

The encyclopedia of science published in Moscow has called Abu Rayhan the scholar of all centuries. In many countries, universities, colleges and libraries have been named after Biruni, and he has been given the title “the Eternal Master.”
