Practice tip
Learn the adjectives in pairs of opposites: big and small, cheap and expensive, easy and hard. Then describe things around you out loud with a noun and an adjective, for example "a big bank" or "an expensive apartment." The grammar page shows exactly how to join the two words, so this practice prepares you for it. Finally, say one full sentence about money using a word from the loan list, such as "The monthly installment is small."
