What this fâl tells you

Your words will travel far: like Persian sugar carried to Bengal, something you make or say will be welcomed in a distant place. Tradition reads this fal as a sign of spring and of recognition from far away. Do not be fooled by the world's flattery, and keep making your heartfelt case; it is working.

A traditional-style reading for reflection and enjoyment.

How this ghazal is built

radif: miravad ("goes, is going"). qâfiye: -âle (lâle, ghassâle, dallâle, bangâle, sâle, donbâle, mohtâle, nâle). Tradition says Hafez sent this ghazal to Sultan Ghiyath al-Din of Bengal.
