What this fâl tells you
You are not alone: someone stands by you like a shelter, and with that support the talk of others cannot touch you. Tradition reads this fal as a call to stay loyal to the people and the bond you hold dear. Keep your heart's promise, and let gossip pass by.
A traditional-style reading for reflection and enjoyment.
How this ghazal is built
radif: dâram ("I have"). qâfiye: -an (badan, khishtan, khotan, anjoman, chaman, shekan, ahreman, sokhan, nastaran, hasan). Each half-line also has an inner rhyme in many lines (jânân/badan, khâter/juyam...). Beyt 5 has an Arabic phrase: be-hamdellâhe val-menne "praise and grace be to God".
