What this fâl tells you

This fal opens with long-awaited good news: a meeting has become possible and the watchful eyes that stood in the way are gone. Tradition reads it as a time to give thanks, gather your scattered thoughts and enjoy what has been granted. Help may come from a generous person of standing; receive it gratefully and share your good fortune.

A traditional-style reading for reflection and enjoyment.

How this ghazal is built

radif: ham. qâfiye: -âr (kenâr, ruzegâr, negâr, khoshgovâr, meygosâr, biyâr, moshkbâr, barmadâr, bebâr, eghtedâr, yasâr, nesâr, hesâr, madâr, bahâr, ezâr). Beyts 10-16 praise a vizier named Borhan al-Din; beyt 11 puns on kân "mine" (of jewels).
