What this fâl tells you

This fal begins with a nightingale teaching from a cypress branch: there is wisdom to hear in simple, beautiful things. Tradition reads it as a reminder that you reap what you sow, so plant good seeds now. Do not tie your heart to possessions; a simple life with peaceful sleep can be richer than a throne.

A traditional-style reading for reflection and enjoyment.

How this ghazal is built

radif: none. qâfiye: -avi (pahlavi, ma'navi, beshnavi, donyavi, isavi, khosravi, miravi, nadravi, molavi). Beyt 2 alludes to the burning bush through which God spoke to Moses.
