What this fâl tells you

Let the past go. Tradition reads this fal as a gentle call to forgive: a misunderstanding, a harsh word, or someone's gossip does not have to stay between you and the people you care about. A clear heart and a little patience will bring back warmth, and you are free to walk your own way.

A traditional-style reading for reflection and enjoyment.

How this ghazal is built

radif: raft raft (in beyts 2 and 5 the first half-line ends sukht sukht and bord bord; beyt 4 bud bud). qâfiye: -âyi (khatâyi, jafâyi, gedâyi, safâyi, khatâyi, mâjarâyi, nâsezâyi, jâyi). The doubled verb means "it is done, let it go".
