What this fâl tells you

This ghazal gives good order to joy: work by day, celebrate by night, and choose your companions carefully. Tradition reads it as advice to put effort into your craft now and keep pleasures for their proper time. Beware of people who share your cup only to break it; if your lot falls well, hold your head high.

A traditional-style reading for reflection and enjoyment.

How this ghazal is built

radif: andâzad. qâfiye: -âm (jâm, modâm, dâm, kodâm, khâm, zalâm, shâm, tamâm). modâm means both "constant" and "wine".
