What this fâl tells you

A breeze is bringing good news, and the time of meeting is near. Tradition reads this fal as a sign that a message or a messenger you have been waiting for may soon arrive. Do not hide your longing behind too much patience: say what you feel, kindly and openly.

A traditional-style reading for reflection and enjoyment.

How this ghazal is built

radif: none. qâfiye: -âl (shemâl, vesâl, ghâl, hâl, atlâl, kamâl, ta'âl, mâlâmâl, khiyâl, jalâl, benâl). Beyts 2 to 6 are entirely Arabic, in the style of old Arabic love poems that mourn an abandoned campsite.
