What this fâl tells you

This fal tells you that you are being guided by a hand larger than your own, so you do not need to explain every step to critics. Tradition reads it as a sign that you carry a real gift, a jewel, and that the right person who can see its worth will be found. Let your words come from the heart, as the parrot speaks what its master teaches.

A traditional-style reading for reflection and enjoyment.

How this ghazal is built

radif: none. qâfiye: -uyam (miguyam, mipuyam, miruyam, mijuyam, mishuyam, mimuyam, mibuyam). Beyt 2 alludes to the old way of teaching a parrot to talk: a mirror was set before it and someone spoke from behind.
