What this fâl tells you

This fal is a prayer for someone far away to come home. Tradition reads it as a hopeful sign that an absent loved one, or something precious you have lost, will return safely, and that the wounded heart will be comforted. Send your message with sincerity; humble words can reach even the highest ears.

A traditional-style reading for reflection and enjoyment.

How this ghazal is built

radif: bâz resân. qâfiye: -an (khotan, chaman, tan, man, yaman, zaghan, sokhan, vatan). Beyt 4 alludes to the star Canopus (Soheyl), said to rise over Yemen and give rubies their color.
