What this fâl tells you

This fal says that someone already knows your heart without your saying it, so you need not prove yourself to critics. Tradition reads it as a call to value the present moment and to stay patient with your companions on a hard road, remembering easier days. Hope warmly, but put your energy where good fortune is truly possible.

A traditional-style reading for reflection and enjoyment.

How this ghazal is built

radif: none. qâfiye: -âni (midâni, mikhâni, penhâni, beyafshâni, pishâni, ensâni, parishâni, darmâni, âsâni, najonbâni). The last half-line is in quotation marks as a proverb-like warning.
