1. Sing along to the music
The Persian language has all kinds of music. Such as pop, rap, classic music, and etc. In fact, classic music reflects the culture and civilization of Iran. You can sing along with music to have a better speaking and accent.
2. Watch TV
If you thought learning phrases like, “با یک تیر دو نشان زدن” or “این نیز بگذرد” isn’t very practical, we’d have to tell you that you are sorely mistaken. TV – is a great way to learn Persian phrases.
3. Start choosing a word of the day
This is a fun, engaging way to start expanding your Persian vocabulary. You can write a word for each day in your notebook and memorize those words throughout the week. You can also share Persian words with your friends.
4. Enhance your commute
Whether you walk, drive or take the train, you can always download some Persian-speaking podcasts to play on your way to university or work. In fact, half an hour a day goes a long way when you’re using this sort of “free time” in a productive way.
5. Translate
If you see something written or hear people talking, try translating it into Persian. It’ll make you more attuned to your surroundings and you can then see which Persian words you need to learn or work on. You can even write your Instagram posts in two languages.

6. Find a Persian-speaking lover
But really though! If your love interest happens to speak the language that you’re trying to master fluently, then they can help you learn it faster and better. You can also find a Persian-speaking friend which works more or less the same way.
7. Travel to Iran
Go to Iran and just speak. If you know how to speak even a little, the people of Iran will understand what you are saying and will even encourage you to talk and help you speak Persian better.
8. At least travel to a Persian-speaking country (and then practice!)
Practice really does make perfect. And please don’t feel ashamed! Making mistakes is bound to happen, even your own language began with you making mistakes. So, talk to a taxi driver, the waiter – anyone – preferably in a country where Persian is spoken natively so you get the right kind of practice every day. Stuck back home? Try teaching your cat some commands in Persian.
9. Put more effort into your flashcards
Don’t just write one word like “غذا” That won’t get you very far. Instead, write phrases such as: “این غذا خوشمزه است” or “این غذا یک دلار است” Phrases will take you much farther than single words and you can pick up even more words and Persian grammar this way.
10. Be consistent
No matter how you decide to approach your Persian studies, make a schedule and stick to it. If your goal is to study a minimum of 1 hour a day, then do it! It’s like exercise, you can’t just expect to do two or three intensive hours in one week and then see results. Actually, you will see more progress doing it over an extended period of time rather than all at once.
